ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Student Criteria

Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher from the most recent school year.
Must have completed 8 hours or more of volunteer work.
Reading and math levels should be at grade level or higher.
Students' must have been accepted into the private school they plan to attend for the upcoming school year.
Upon acceptance and award of the Lion Den Scholarship, students will be required to complete 30 hours of volunteer work towards the school within the duration of the school year.
Students that reapply for the Lion Den Scholarship must meet all the above criteria. Students who fail to complete the volunteer work hours will not be eligible to reapply for one year following the end of the school year that they were awarded.

Must complete a financial need assessment for the school your student plans to attend/has been accepted into. Parents/guardians will be required to provide a copy of this assessment that they are eligible for or needs tuition aid.

Parents/guardians of students that reapply for the Lion Den Scholarship must meet all the above criteria. Parents/guardians that fail to complete the volunteering work hours will cause their student's to be ineligible to reapply for one year following the year that the student was awarded.
